If you are building the standard Bandera model, you can use a traditional Timber framed Gable design. Commercial Roof Trusses are available in most countries. If you are going it alone and intend constructing your own Trusses, the following Link will give all you need to confidently do it yourself.

If you are building the ‘WARREGO’ typhoon proof Bungalow, the plans with materials and lengths are provided for each roof truss.

There are two steel framed hip roof designs for the Warrego. (the ‘Nathan Typhoon Proof Roof’) which used open channel purlins and the ‘Gunya’ which uses RHS (rectangular hollow steel) for the frame. This type would be the easier to construct because it is a fully welded structure and fewer components.
