OUTSIDE WALL MODULE REINFORCEMENT BRACKET

The purpose of this bracket is to give added strength against impact forces from airborne objects striking the wall.
There are 16 brackets in all, one attached to each Exoskeleton steel post. Mark hole location from Brackets and bore two 12mm clearance holes through wall module. Fasten ‘A’ and ‘C’ brackets with two 12mm dia by 140mm Cup head bolts. With nut to be on outside.
Check out attached sketch. Bracket ‘B’ is welded to inner face of Exoskeleton post.
Brackets ‘A’ and ‘C’ are bolted to wall module: Bracket ‘A’ on the outside, and Bracket ‘C’ on the inside face.
Bracket ‘D’ is the bar that attaches Bracket ‘A’ on the wall module to Bracket ‘B’ on the steel post.
The ideal location for each bracket is roughly to the middle of wall, but must be installed on a flat surface of outer metal sheet between horizontal ribs. Check picture below.

To find position for Bracket ‘B’ on steel post, after brackets ‘A’ and ‘C’ have been installed, measure up from concrete slab to centre of hole on Bracket ‘A’, that is the measurement for the height of Bracket ’B’ .
When Bracket ‘B’ has been welded to post, measure distance between holes on ‘A’ and ‘B bracket holes. Cut and drill Bracket ‘D’ to these measurements.
Fasten Brackets ‘A’ and ‘B’ together with Bracket ‘D’ with two 12mm dia by 40mm hex head bolt and nuts.

Cut and drill these two pieces the same size.
